Frequently asked questions
We divide your annual salary by your weeks worked per year (52 by default) and your hours worked per week (38 by default): hourly rate = annual ÷ (weeks per year × hours per week). Monthly, fortnightly, weekly and daily figures use standard payroll divisors (12, 26, 52, and weekly ÷ days per week).
